Each CD contains enough music for a complete fun filled show of 1 hour duration. Company numbers, boy and girl solos, duets, comedy routines, ladies medleys, men's medleys and great sing-a-long favorites. Old Time Music hall was an important era in the development of musical theatre today. Songs and jokes were about day-to-day life of the working classes. Some songs were very sentimental but on the whole the shows were full of comedy and were an escape from the tough life and times of this period in history. Numbers can be mixed and matched to suit your own needs. Indeed some of the sentimental solos could be used for ballet numbers. Great ideas for your next school show or concert party. |  |
